As the transatlantic community adjusts to a rapidly changing strategic landscape, the Oslo Security Conference 2026 will bring together leading policymakers, experts, and practitioners. They will explore how Europe and its closest partners can navigate an emerging “new normal”, marked by increased unpredictability, intensified great-power competition, and a return to realpolitik, as major powers test the limits of the rules-based order. Questions surrounding the future of US global engagement, Europe’s evolving defence posture, the challenges posed by Russia’s destabilizing presence and its war on Ukraine, and the growing importance of maritime security, will frame this year’s discussions.

The Oslo Security Conference 2025 was successfully held at the Oslo University Aula on February 3rd and 4th. The title of the conference was: "Transatlantic Security in an Era of Uncertainty - How Great Power Competition and War Shape the Future European Order".
The Leangkollen Security Conference 2024 took place in the Oslo University Aula on February the 5th and 6th. The title of this Conference was: "NATO 75 - Past, Present, and Future".
